Commander Nexus earns a small commission from two shops: TCGplayer and Amazon. In the Where to buy section on a card (click any card to open it), the TCGplayer link goes through TCGplayer’s partner program and the Amazon link goes through Amazon Associates. If you buy something after clicking one, that shop pays us a small share of the sale. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Each list of shop links also says so in a short line underneath, and this page has the details. The other shops’ links carry no affiliate code: we are not paid when you click them or buy through them.
Clicking a TCGplayer link passes you through TCGplayer’s partner service on the way to their page, which records the click so a sale can be credited. Amazon does the same with its own tracking. That happens on their side, under their privacy policies. The link also tells TCGplayer’s partner service which kind of page you were on and which card it was, so we can see what leads to a sale. Nothing about you goes with it. On our side we count clicks on every shop link, by day, shop, page and card, without recording who clicked. The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets two, and only if you say yes to it.
There are no sponsorships, no advertising and no paid placements. The commission helps cover what it costs to keep the site running.
Two things will not change. A commission will never alter what the site recommends: suggestions are ranked by what a card does in your deck, never by what it pays us. And a commission never changes the price you pay.
