Adaptive Automaton
You must choose an existing creature type, such as Human or Warrior. Card types such as artifact and supertypes such as legendary can't be chosen.
Even though Adaptive Automaton is a Construct, other Construct creatures you control won't get +1/+1 unless you chose Construct as Adaptive Automaton entered the battlefield.
The choice of creature type is made as Adaptive Automaton enters. Players can't take any actions between the time the choice is made and the time the appropriate creatures begin to get +1/+1.
Liliana of the Dark Realms
Each of Liliana's abilities refers to lands (or land cards) with the subtype Swamp, not just ones named Swamp.
When you activate Liliana's second ability, you choose only the target creature. You choose whether that creature gets +X/+X or -X/-X when the ability resolves. The value of X is determined by the number of Swamps you control when the ability resolves.
You can activate Liliana's first ability even if your library contains no Swamp cards (or you don't want to find one). You'll still search your library and shuffle it.
Liliana's emblem doesn't remove any other abilities of Swamps you control.
Reflector Mage
In several cases, the name of the creature that was returned won’t match the name of that card once it’s back in its owner’s hand. For example, if the card was copying another creature, it will probably have a different name in its owner’s hand and can be cast again before your next turn. The same is true if a double-faced card with its back face up is returned to its owner’s hand this way.
If the returned creature had no name while it was on the battlefield (likely because the creature was face down), its owner can still cast face-down creature spells with morph or megamorph, or cast the same card face up, before your next turn.
Reflector Mage’s ability doesn’t stop any player from playing lands (in the case that the returned creature was also a land).
Also Printed in Other Drops
Some of these cards came in other Secret Lair drops too, each with its own art.
