Elspeth Tirel
As Elspeth Tirel's last ability resolves, each permanent that isn't a token, a land, or Elspeth Tirel herself is destroyed.
Jace, Unraveler of Secrets
If Jace’s emblem’s triggered ability doesn’t counter the first spell an opponent casts (perhaps because that spell can’t be countered), it won’t trigger again in the same turn to try to counter that player’s second spell.
If you have multiple opponents, Jace’s emblem can trigger once each turn for each opponent.
The emblem’s triggered ability counters the first spell an opponent casts on each turn, not just that opponent’s turn.
Liliana of the Dark Realms
Each of Liliana's abilities refers to lands (or land cards) with the subtype Swamp, not just ones named Swamp.
When you activate Liliana's second ability, you choose only the target creature. You choose whether that creature gets +X/+X or -X/-X when the ability resolves. The value of X is determined by the number of Swamps you control when the ability resolves.
You can activate Liliana's first ability even if your library contains no Swamp cards (or you don't want to find one). You'll still search your library and shuffle it.
Liliana's emblem doesn't remove any other abilities of Swamps you control.
The Royal Scions
If you draw fewer than four cards while resolving the last ability of The Royal Scions, its reflexive triggered ability doesn't trigger.
You draw a card and discard a card all while The Royal Scions's first ability is resolving. Nothing can happen between the two, and no player may choose to take actions.
The Royal Scions's last ability goes on the stack without a target. While that ability is resolving, you draw four cards. When you do, the reflexive triggered ability triggers and you pick a target to be dealt damage. This is different from effects that say “If you do . . .” in that you choose a target after looking at the cards you draw.
If replacement effects cause you to draw five or more cards while resolving the last ability of The Royal Scions, its reflexive triggered ability still triggers only once, even if you draw eight cards.
Also Printed in Other Drops
Some of these cards came in other Secret Lair drops too, each with its own art.
