Alela, Artful Provocateur

Wizards of the Coast 4 Oct 2019

A spell that's both an artifact and an enchantment spell causes Alela's last ability to trigger only once.

Wizards of the Coast 4 Oct 2019

Alela's last ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.

Phage the Untouchable

Wizards of the Coast 1 Jul 2013

In a Commander game where this card is your commander, casting it from the Command zone does not count as casting it from your hand.

Wizards of the Coast 4 Oct 2004

It is only considered "cast from your hand" if you cast it as a spell from your hand. Putting it onto the battlefield from your hand using a spell or ability will cause you to lose the game.

Sen Triplets

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

Sen Triplets doesn't allow you to play more than one land during your turn or change when you may cast spells from the target opponent's hand.

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

You can't activate abilities of cards in the target opponent's hand.

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

Triggered abilities use the word “when,” “whenever,” or “at.” They're often written as “[Trigger condition], [effect].” Triggered abilities are unaffected by Sen Triplets.

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

Abilities that create replacement effects, such as a permanent entering the battlefield tapped or with counters on it, are unaffected by Sen Triplets. Abilities that apply “as [this creature] enters the battlefield” are also replacement effects and are unaffected.

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

The target opponent can't activate any abilities, including mana abilities.

Wizards of the Coast 7 Aug 2020

Activated abilities are written in the form “[Cost]: [Effect].” Some keyword abilities (such as cycling) are activated abilities and will have colons in their reminder texts.

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard

Wizards of the Coast 18 Jul 2014

If Yisan isn't on the battlefield when its ability resolves, use the number of verse counters on it when it left the battlefield to determine which creature cards may be put onto the battlefield. This number will include the counter you put on Yisan to activate the ability.

Also Printed in Other Drops

Some of these cards came in other Secret Lair drops too, each with its own art.
